Common questions
How does the free trial work?
The free trial gives you access to all features for 15 days since your first upload, including 3 uploads and 5 hectares of plant counts analysis. When the trial ends you'll be able to choose one of the paid options and your preferred payment method.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most Credit and Debit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. For yearly subscriptions, we can also offer payment by bank transfer. All subscriptions are charged in USD and EUR.
What is an upload?
Upload is a set of up to 1500 image captures typically covering one or several neighboring fields. If the number of captures exceeds 1500, it will count as multiple uploads in 1500 captures increments. For example, 2000 captures will count as 2 uploads, 3000 as 3, and so on.
How does Sharing work?
For every Farm, you can create a unique web link that can be shared with others. Anyone will then be able to visit the link without the Solvi account and will see the read-only version of your data and will not be able to change or delete anything.
What outputs can I get with the Plant Counts tool?
Plant Counts with PlantAI™ tool can generate Basic Counts or Counts with Plant-level Data in minutes after the imagery is processed. Basic Counts will provide a total number of plants in the field and a SHP-file with the geolocation of each plant. Counts with Plant-level data, in addition to Basic Counts, also include Area, Diameter and Health of each individual plant.
What are Farms and Fields?
Farms and Fields is a way to organize, view, and share your drone imagery. Every upload is assigned to a Field which in turn belongs to a Farm. There are no geographical limitations on locations and distance between the Fields in a Farm
What does it cost to process Plant Counts?
The price is $2.50/ha, or $1.00/ac, for Basic Counts and $5.00/ha (or $2.00/ac) for Counts with Plant-level Data. The minimum fee per upload is $50 with Pay as You Go and $15 with Starter, Professional or Enterprise plans. We also offer “Done For You” service - our support team does all the work for you and generates counts usually within 24 hours. The minimum fee for Done for You is $75. We offer discounts for large volume orders.
For how long time is my data stored in Solvi?
All your data is stored safely during the whole time that your account is active, i.e. if you have active Subscription or Pay as You Go credit left and for 6 months after the account becomes inactive. If the account remains inactive after 6 months, we reserve the right to remove all the data.
